Sales in December are typically slow, but this December, Acton sales were strong.  Another sign that the market continues to improve is that the average Days on Market for homes in Acton, compared to December of 2011 was 156 compared to 208 a year ago.. down by 52 days!!

Home sales in the $400,000 to 500,000 range sell very quickly, often with multiple offers, leading to over-asking price accepted offers.  Buyers in this price range should be prepared to act quickly and decisively to be successful in purchasing an Acton MA home.  Pre-approval for a mortgage has to be current.
