Franklin Art Scene downtown Franklin February 1 will coincide with the National Wear Red Day, the movement started ten years ago by the American Heart Association to support awareness, education and research benefiting women.

On Friday, February 1, the Franklin Art Scene will guide participants to nearly 40 sites. A $5 ticket buys you a wristband which gives you unlimited access to the trolleys that circulate to all the venues from 6 to 9 p.m.

Some of the highlights you can look forward to during the Franklin Art Scene for February include:
 
The artwork of Joseph Dzuback Bibb, a Franklin native, will be displayed at Franklin Mercantile Deli. His work includes paintings and mixed media much of which was influenced by his Irish and Tennessee heritage. The abstract art of Philip Terhune, who recently made Tennessee his home, will be featured at Boutique MMM on the Public Square. The works of photographer and writer, Donna O"Neil, will be showcased at Handy Hardware on Columbia Avenue, a new addition to the art scene circuit.
