Why Selling My Own House is Difficult
Any individual can certainly sell his or her house, whatever the reason may be. For sale signage can be erected within the property, specifically on the front yard to let other people know that the house is up for sale. Yet, despite efforts – legions of homeowners are finding difficulty selling their own houses. This entry attempts to answer why For Sale By Homeowner (FSBO) has become difficult these days.

One reason why FSBOs become difficult to sell is because of its limited exposure to potential buyers. While signage helps the house for sale to get some notice, it is not enough. The signage would only be visible to a limited community or neighborhood. Whereas, when selling a house through a realtor – the property gets maximum exposure through MLS (multiple listing services). FSBOs cannot be entered in those listings because they are only open to licensed real estate brokers and agents.
