What do I do for fun other than in real estate in Fayetteville NC?  One of my favorite things is being involved in Boy Scouts.  While as a youth, I was only a Scout for 6 weeks.   As an adult, I have been active for over 25 years.  I have held many positions over the years at the troop, district and council level.  I have attended 6 National Boy Scout Jamborees.  But, one of the most fun things that I have been doing is as a part of a crossover ceremony team the first quarter of every year.
Let me explain.  When a youth has completed all the requirements in Cub Scouts to earn his Arrow of Light, he is also usually at the age to become a Boy Scout.  The event that happens here is referred to often as a Crossover Ceremony.  For my non-Scouting friends, the Arrow of Light is the highest rank a Cub Scout can earn as the Eagle is the highest rank a Boy Scout can earn.
