Amy and Phil found out they were expecting another child and in July 2012 decided to have an addition put on their home.  They talked to a contractor and excitedly planned the additional two bedrooms and a bathroom on the upper level of their home.
 
The contractor took a large deposit and waited.  A couple months went by and they began to worry.  Further investigation showed the contractor had many other complaints against the company.   
 
They did not even have a roof on their home in October.  Amy and Phil decided that they needed to make sure this did not happen to anyone else and pursued the contractor in court.   
 
As if the stress of trial and a home that was torn apart, their baby was very ill with a rare condition.  They lost ... more
