Looking for a mentor for SEO Optimization
I have been a member off and on for several years and just recently been back on track here on the rain.  I have been receiving calls from people trying to sell me on services to increase my Google ranking in my area.  So my question is whether it is worth talking to these people or are there ways I can get that same results on my own through my postings.  Now I have seen previous posts over the years but am wondering if there some solid advice I can get from one mentor out there? Perhaps someone who has summarized all the secrets / methods to  drive up my rankings. Any takers?  Help much appreciated.
