6. Pay attention to curb appeal
You need to trim shrubs, pull weeds, shovel snow in the winter, replace or paint the old rusty mailbox and much more to have decent curb appeal. Ask some friends to drive by when you are finished and to give you their honest opinion on your curb appeal. By the way, don't forget the roof when thinking about curb appeal. 7. Consider having a pre-home inspection and purchase a home warranty for the next buyer
While this isn't by any means a mandate, it can tell the prospective buyer you believe in the product - your house - that you are selling.
8. Disappear while your house is being shown
Please get lost when your house is being shown. I was showing a house the other evening and the homeowner was there. She became offended when my clients were opening ... more
