The south side section of Rockville Centre is boarded on the south by Mill River and on the north by Merrick Road.  On the east side is Long Beach Road and on the west is South Village Avenue.
WHAT'S THE NEIGHBORHOOD LIKE?
The homes in the South Side Area of Rockville Centre are very eclectic.  They are mostly Victorians, Colonials, Cape Cods and Ranches. Most of the homes were built between the late 1800's and 1950.  The Victorians have magnificent detailing and wrap around porches.  The colonials can range from 2,000 sq.ft. up to 4,500 sq.ft.  The majority of the homes are single family dwellings with some two family homes mixed in.  The area has a wonderful sense of neighborhood and the pride of ownership is clearly evident.
