Rain dances, supplications oft, and long suffering patience have paid dividends in Sandy UT.
Some decent rain at last.
Thunder, lightening, swirling breezes, drumming rain. The works...
The trees are happy; the sere grasses are a little revived. Dust has been washed from foliage. Vegetable plants are a little more upward pointing, free at last from the sustained heat stress. Cleaner vehicles, tidier roads and less blowing dust.
We are happy for what we have received; we are respectfully anxious for a little more ~ just to be sure.
We are pleased with the evident moisture and for the comforting drop in temperatures. Pleasant relief.
And as with all bestowed gifts, necessary gratitude will be evident in Sabbath Services and prayers tomorrow.
