It is not unusual to sell homes furnished in vacation  areas like beach front, golf or mountain resort properties. That is probably because many people have second homes.
But why not take that concept into regular resales?
In talking with my seller of 3521 Autumn Drive in Pikesville, this subject came up. They will be rightsizing ( I don't like the term downsizing) moving into a newly built condominium and since the big beautiful home is perfectly and comfortably furnished...why  not leave it intact. 
Think of the family moving from out of town, the first time buyer or the buyer who has the same idea...sell their home, condo or townhouse furnished.
