Hot tubs - Beware - They can be dangerous
Two weeks ago (July 2013), I was in the quaint little town of Comox on Vancouver Island. I have some Real Estate there and had work to do on one of my properties. Going there is always fun as I contact old friends and invariably spend the night with one of them. On this occasion, I was with Dan and Gaynor and after dinner, as it was a pleasant evening Dan and I sat outside with a glass of wine and reminisced about the days when we both used to be Airline pilots. Around 10.30 pm, Dan said "how about wrapping up the evening by going into the hot tub for a while". Naturally, I said 'that sounds like a great idea" ... so into the tub we got.
Dan has the "Cadillac" of hot tubs with numerous jets and soft semi-reclining positions. We continued to tell a few more "war stories" about our flying days. After about 15 minutes I said "Dan, I'm feeling a bit hot I think I need to get out". As I got out, I remember watching Dan start to put the cover on the hot tub. That's the last I remember.
