Why you would want to live in Dearborn.
Dearborn is the home of Ford Motor Company.  Much of Michigan's automotive history has it roots here in Dearborn.  Greenfield Village and the Henry Ford Museum are located here in Dearborn, Michigan.  History comes alive in some of the historic homes.
I would say Dearborn was a racist city at one time.  The cities lawmakers fought to keep minorities out many years ago.  Today that has changed.  Dearborn welcomes all races, all religions, and is a multi-ethnic city.  Now it houses one of the largest communities of Arabic Americans in the US.  There is a new hustle and bustle to Dearborn.  New stores, new strip malls, old buildings making way for new ones.  There is change to Dearborn, Michigan.  An upgrading, a new look for an old town.  Where many towns have started to decay, Dearborn has filled the downtown area and made it come alive.  Chris Chelios has a bar that bears his name in downtown Dearborn.
The many car dealerships still line Michigan Avenue.  Jacobsen's is long gone, but there are still unique shops in Dearborn.  If you work at Ford Motor Company Dearborn is still a great place to live.  From $100,000 bungalows, $250,000 ranchs to $600,000 colonials there is a ... more
