Who still advertises sold listings?
Ok, for those of you who have been around awhile know what I'm talking about. It used to be pretty common when technology and communication were not nearly as fast or available.
When the only new technology around was a cool cell phone, lots of times pictures and other ads for homes might come out in magazines well after they had already sold. Not a big deal. Back when I started, we got a new MLS book every TWO WEEKS with little black and white pictures and the relevant information to look up on the MLS web site (how silly would that be nowadays!), by the time the books came out, you could have sold the place 3 times before customers got ahold of the information.
I find it funny to see things like that in todays fast moving society. I know, I know, we all get caught up in deadlines from ad books and newspapers where the house pends the day AFTER you submit the ad for press.
