My First Blog...2008's not going to be bad
Well, I have been wanting to try this for some time, so any feedback I would appreciate.  I am perplexed by the media's fixation on the real estate market and the fact that they believe it is soooo DOWN.. It feels sometimes like we are the only one's saying that it is NOT a bad market  but rather a Buyer's Market. This is truely one thing I  wish that the National Association of Realtors would emphasize to the public. Buyer's market does not equal bad market... I am finding more internet hits and calls on properties with price reductions b/c the Buyer's are out there watching for a deal.That is when they get in their car and drive to teh beautiful Northwoods.  It makes this a very interesting business at this time and I do think for those of us prepared to look at the market differently it will not be doom and gloom in 2008.  I have currently found myself with several Buyer's looking for a really good "deal" and with Buyer's Agency available I feel I can help them reach their goals.   I think we, excuse me I mean I , sometimes forget that our job is to put Buyer's in homes and get Sellers onto their ... more
