Your Agent Can't Sell Your House if It Can't Be Shown

Dear Seller,
I am sending you this note because I have spent the last three days trying to get an appointment to show your home to an extremely viable buyer.   You have placed restrictions on showings that are extremely difficult to adhere to. 
First, you want to be there for all showings and you want your agent there as well.  You feel that you are the only person qualified to show your home in its best light.  So, we now have to accommodate your schedule, your agent’s schedule, my two buyer’s schedules as well as mine.  Trying to get five people together at any time is a challenge.
Second, you have limited the showing times to three weekdays and none on weekends.  Since many buyers work during the week and only have weekends free to see properties, (my buyers, for instance) we have tried to get you to make an exception for weekend showings and you have finally agreed but not until mid September.  When I initially saw that your home had been on the market for 469 days I was fearful that there were inspection issues that would keep it from selling near its asking price.  I now ... more
