Appraisal fees in Hawaii
Come on everyone, Look at the mainland and the prices for appraisals there . You will find that Hawaii is the most expensive. my question is why.  Cost of living in California is just as high, yet standard appraisals are $350.00  Some areas are in the 200s for a quick/easy condominium. I shopped most appraisers/companies on Oahu, Maui, and Kauai with the highest for a condo was $650 and the highest for a standard Single Family Home under a million for $775.00  If your a mortgage company, shame on you for letting that borrower pay that much. If you paid for the appraisal,  what are you thinking.
