On a recent home inspection in Hobbs New Mexico for Desert Sun Home inspections from Carlsbad New Mexico.
This home was built in 1985. Local builder. But it looks like they were trying to save some time and money. Short cuts were found all over the home.
I noticed the area in the garage flooring was not right. Cracks are often found but not in this condition nor this badly separated.
The exterior brick and trim of the home showed signs of stress as well. Not a good thing when the buyer is at the inspection and you are explaining things to the buyer.
The buyer did bring up the major crack in the garage floor.

This crack would not have been so much a concern if there were no issues with the exterior of the home. But there were and are issues.
