ENHANCING PUBLIC AWARENESS
I want to make the public aware of what we are doing and what needs to be done. Thus, I would encourage the DWA board of directors to have all of our meetings televised on channel 17 government television. If the public is informed, together we can do more.
Education and information go hand-in-hand.
 
Our elected offices, such as Palm Springs City Council and many other commissions and boards, are televised on government cable television channel 17.
 
This transparency helps raise awareness of issues and lets us know what our elected officials are doing in an open, publicly-elected board of directors meeting. As a member of the Board of Directors, I will emphasize better attention to the constituents – particularly parts of Cathedral City, Desert Hot Springs and Palm Springs.
 
I welcome the challenge to work with the current board, as well as homebuilders, homeowner associations, Realtors and all city council members and mayors.
