Palm Desert (East) Gated Communities
The City of Palm Desert, with a population over 50,000, is located in the beautiful Coachella Valley in Southern California. Some of the more unique activities include a golf cart parade in the fall, free outdoor evening concerts and a spectacular fireworks display on July 4th. The sun shines an average of 350 days a year, providing many opportunities to enjoy outdoors activities such as hiking, biking, tennis, golf, or relaxing by the pool. State Highway 74, the “Palms to Pines” Highway, originates in Palm Desert and provides access to the Santa Rosa and San Jacinto mountain areas.
The city has three real estate areas: North, South, and East. The East portion has the newest and most gated communities in the city, and breath-taking views of the surrounding mountains. These are a few of the many gated communities located in the East portion of Palm Desert.
Capri consists of two gated communities adjacent to each other: Amatista and Brenna. These Mediterranean-style single story homes were built by StoneBridge from 2004-2006 on fee-simple land. Many of the homes have casitas and private pools and spas. Capri is situated adjacent to a new elementary school and park.
