Single-family Real Estate Market Update Washington County October 2013

We're already in the third week of November and I'm just getting out the October stats for the  Washington County real estate market, but here they are!
The number of single-family homes that sold in October is up about 7% over September, but down about 10% from October of last year.

The average sale price in October ($226,877) is up from September ($212,103) about 7% but down just a bit--3%--from October 2012 ($234,998). 

Finally, the days on market (number so days from when the house was listed until it is put into  a "pending" status, meaning all contingencies have been removed) is up about 27% over September, but down 13% from October 2012.
