Thanksgiving, Wintry Weather and Real Estate

OK! So it's that time of year! The winter holidays are upon upon us and while our Winters are not all that bad in Charlotte NC, we do get freezing rain, ice and even some snow here every now and then. (About 4 inches annually is what we average!) Not complaining about that! Why is it though, you always seem to get your busiest in real estate right before a holiday (or when you go on vacation), especially with out of town folks? And why is it, when you tell these out of town folks how mild it is here in the Winter, they plan a trip, and we have a big mess like what is headed our way? Oh well, chalk it up to old man Winter (or would that be old man Murphy?) I guess! Always happy to have the business, although I may not be here 100%!
