THROUGH THE EYES OF A CHILD IN BERLIN HEIGHTS OHIO

The Christmas Season…..that wondrous time of year where simple homes and neighborhoods morph into extraordinary displays of lights and sounds of the holiday.
Children and adults alike delight in the welcome change during the short, cold days of winter.
I think we all have a vision in our heads of what a beautiful display looks like….. Candles aglow in the windows, draping garland on the fence, a red bow wreath on the front door, colored lights brightening the darkness.   But, so much joy of the season, centers around the pure joy and excitement of the children.  What does the Christmas Season look like to them?
There is a house in the Village of Berlin Heights, OH, that I think must look like a wonderland to the children who see it.  It is in the center of town directly across the street from the middle school.  I was told that the gentleman who lives there, used to make doll houses.  As he got older, he could no longer do the fine work the doll houses required and a new hobby was born.
