How much education does your Realtor have?
After completing 2 courses totaling 90 hours and passing a state exam in 2012, I was given my real estate affiliate broker license. Even though you take the course and pass the exam there’s still a lot about real estate that you don’t know. I wanted to learn everything I could so that I would be able to serve my clients in the best way possible.
I have completed all of the classes offered at our local MLS office to fully understand the software used to search for listings and evaluate the local market. In addition, I have taken classes to learn how to use Transaction Desk (an electronic document software program that allows for electronic signatures), a HUD statement class, a Tennessee Wood Infestation class, How to Sell HUD homes class, Mortgage Fraud class, and the Tennessee Real Estate Commission Core course.
