Did You Strut?

The King Mango Strut parade in Coconut Grove began in the 1980's by Glenn Terry and Bill Dobson.  It always occurs on the last Sunday of every year and rolls right down the center of Coconut Grove's downtown village.  The parade has become infamous for its parodies of major political figures, celebrities and events.  This year some of the people and topics covered were Florida's Govenor Rick Scott, The Duck Dynasty, Miley Cyrus, "Selfies" and "Hashtags".  Coconut Grove is the perfect backdrop for the Strut given the plethora of interesting personalities and characters we have here in town.  In case you missed it, you can read a recap of the parade here.
