The First Storm of 2014
Last night we got our first storm of the new year. There was sleet most of the day and then it snowed about 6-8 inches on top of that.  What's different, it is about 5-8 degrees below zero with the wind chill.  As a result the snow is like powder, you could blow it with a leaf blower.  Usually when we get snow it is wet and very heavy as it warms up right before the storm or during. 
Due to the weather New York and New Jersey are in a state of emergency and they have asked people to stay off the roads if possible.  Everyone stay safe and warm!
