Clovis MLK Jr Community Breakfast 2014
Clovis MLK Jr Community Breakfast 2014 The life and accomplishments of Martin Luther King Jr are memorialized on the third Monday of January every year.  This year, Martin Luther King Jr Day is January 20th.  Since City offices will be closed down that day, the Clovis Police Department will be hosting their Clovis MLK Jr Community Breakfast 2014 on Saturday, January 18th and the entire community is welcome to join them.

Where: Clovis Veterans Memorial Building (5th and Hughes)

Cost: $5 per person with a donation of 1 can of food

The Clovis MLK Jr Community Breakfast 2014 includes a tasty buffet-style breakfast served at 9am, with a special presentation of "I Have a Dream" at 9:45am.  Fresno Councilmember Oliver Baines III is scheduled to be this year's keynote speaker.  In addition to the $5 fee per person, guests are asked to each bring at least one can of food with them to donate to local Clovis and Fresno charities.  Reservations are available for tables of up to eight people.
