When you first join ActiveRain, an email is sent to you explaining where everything is on the website, where to go sign up for webinars and the location to read about the community and Weltanschauung (love that word) and all the rules. Do Not Ignore This Email!
 

ActiveRain built this website and all of us are part of the community so we need to make it a better place but we must follow the rules.
 
ActiveRain encourages “Free Speech” but we all know there are limitations here when writing and publishing on the internet.
 
Do not violate copyright laws. Do not republish someone else’s content without permission. Do not put someone else’s picture on your blog unless you ask and best to get written permission. The word for this is “Stealing”. If you need a photo, go take your own.  
 
You must not violate any Fair Housing Laws. Violations of this nature can cause more problems besides the Activerain removal. You could find yourself in the middle of a Federal lawsuit and I am sure no one ... more
