Sometimes we forget what it is like to be a seller
I had an enjoyable day today. I shot video of a $1.1 million home. It was situated right on a lake front and was beautiful. But you know what? That really was not the best part. I was blown away at the end when we asked the owner what he loved about his home. I recorded 40 minutes of video without pausing. Know what I got? Pure passion from a man who built and lived in the home.
The owner poured his heart out about what he loved about the home he designed and built. At first he was a bit shy about talking on camera, so I dropped it down by my side, but kept it running. I wish I could post the 40 minute video, uncut, and let that sell the home. Unfortunately we will cut it down to 3 minutes and make it a slick presentation. But the unedited version, the one where I focus on the ceiling while the owner talks, is pure gold.
