Ambition - Fortune Cookie Friday

Which came first, the chicken or the egg?
That's kind of how I feel here.  How can I discover my purpose in life or career if I have yet to be ambitious to get things going?  On the other hand, how can I expect to have any ambition if I don't have a purpose to work towards?
Finding your purpose first makes more sense, now to get the ambition to figure that out...
But I'm sure we can all agree, achieving the goal will be the greatest thing!
 
So which came first, the ambition or the purpose?
