January 2014 - Oahu (Honolulu County) Residential Real Estate Sales Activity
Below is the sales activity for the month of January 2014 compared to the previous month and the same month last year.  This covers resale homes for Honolulu County (Oahu). 
Single Family Home sales volume and prices took their seasonal dip compared to the month before, but showed increases in price and volume compared to the same month last year.  Low inventory levels are continuing to keep pressure on the market.
Condos and townhouses have not seen the same increases in prices that single family homes have seen, but they seeing the same pressures with low inventory.  Look for condo prices to climb in 2014 if market conditions remain consistent.
