I’m Retired Finally, Now What? 
Retirement. Simply the word is enough to send jolts up your spine and get you thinking about all the freedom and relaxation you’ll have once you progress on from your job.  And for the initial moments, those two things are all that you need. Or for the moment, at least you think. But for some, finally hitting retirement is terribly baffling and even horrid. 
Start Planning 
Before you get to your initial day of retirement, think about planning ahead for what you’re going to do.  You’ve been used to getting up early, having structure, and a plan for the day. Once this changes you could feel strange or lost. 
During your first 6 months of retirement, you should create a list of things you want to try.  Embrace this list since it can give you the needed structure that was lost once retirement started. 
With your list in hand, sit down with a blank calendar and make a schedule of when you will try these new activities.  Nothing is set in stone after all it is retirement.  You are the creature and boss of your new phase in life.  Embrace your new schedule and your list ... more
