Every year my Long & Foster office in Gainesville, VA has an awards ceremony.  Before our current Managing Broker, Forrest Odend'hal took over, we would get paper awards in a navy folder.  Forrest upped the awards.  He felt like agents that really did well, deserved more than a pat on the back and a piece of paper in a folder.  He gave, and still gives, actual awards that you can display in your home or office.  It's a nice touch.
Today, the day after St. Patrick's Day, we had our annual awards breakfast.  While Forrest is respectful and appreciate of his agents, he is also a man with confidence and a great sense of humor.  Today, he handed out awards dressed in leprechaun garb.  What a hoot!
While I known I had produced a lot of volume in our Gainesville Long & Foster office, I was a bit shocked by winning two awards for production.  For starters, let me clarify, that there are top producing teams (those with multiple agents working toward one cumulative number) and top producing agents, who work alone.  I fall into the latter category.
