Getting the garage space in order and in immaculate condition is the one area a seller can update. This is not an expensive project but does take some work.
   I have seen homes staged and all the excess stuff was loaded in the garage. Their thoughts 'it's just a garage and people know what a garage is.' A clean organized garage can sell a house.
Buyers need to see this large  vacant, clean, painted and organized space with all the possibilities of housing their prized vehicle.
 

 
If you  have a garage... make sure there is room for the car!! Paint the walls and ceiling and then clean the shelves and any stains on the garage floor. There are some wonderful paints for concrete floors that make a garage sparkle. Make sure the windows are clean, the light bulbs are bright and  auto openers are in good working condition.
