The Secret Garden is an all-time favorite novel written by Frances Hodgson Burnett in 1911. Many decades later, it came to life in the form of a movie, a musical and a ballet.

A recent Newsday article (5/2/2014) entitled Garden Conservancy's Open Days: Rare Viewing Chance (Jessica Damiano) stirred up fond memories of discovering the book with former sixth grade classes.
