"Granny Flats" are Becoming More and More Popular
There is a new "Trend" in town!
Do you struggle with what to do as you age and your lifestyle changes? Or maybe you are growing increasingly concerned about how to care or look after an aging parent.  The "Granny Flat" which has been common in Europe for years and years is becoming more and more popular here in the United States.
It's a great way to be close to one another but still have your own place and independence but help and loved ones are nearby at just a moments notice.  Sometimes they are called "Mother-in-Law Suites" or "Guest House" in addition to "Granny Flat".  They are classified as being a "separate dwelling" but still attached to the primary homeadditional separate dwelling unit on a property that would normally accommodate only one dwelling unit.
