Baxter Social Circle employees choose Lake Oconee living!
 
 
Baxter International is investing $1B in a new bio-science plant in Social Circle, Georgia and employment is ramping up.
While Baxter vows to hire Georgians for the bulk of the workforce (Governor Deal is building a state of the art training facility under the Georgia Work Ready) - many middle and senior managers will be brought in from other Baxter divisions throughout the country.

Baxter employees considering transferring to the new plant should look east to Madison and Lake Oconee if they are seeking excellent quality of life and access to award winning schools.
I recently helped a couple from Chicago select an updated ranch with finished basement on a private lakefront lot on Lake Oconee20 Exit 101, and no battles with the infamous metro Atlanta traffic.
