Have you made plans for Memorial Day weekend yet?  One way to honor our fallen heroes is with the 2014 Chesapeake Beach Stars and Stripes Festival this Saturday, Sunday and Monday.  This three day event will culminate in the official dedication of the Vietnam Memorial in Veterans' Memorial Park on Monday at 10am.

All three days of the 2014 Chesapeake Beach Stars and Stripes Festival are chock full of things to see and do.  The festivities kick off with the opening ceremony at 10am on Saturday in Veterans' Memorial Park.  At 7pm on Saturday, travel back in time with the Bob Hope USO Show re-enactment at the North Beach Volunteer Fire Department's Social Hall.  Sunday is full of family-friendly fun, such as military displays, tons of games, a moon bounce house, family picnic and live music from Southern Maryland's very own Sam Grow.
