The Condo Queen Becomes Sustainable - 
This post is in response to the Contest "What Event in Your World/Life led You To Where You Are Today?" For me, that's easy.  The housing market tanked!  One day I'm spending overnight jaunts in parking lots in order to garner the best deal for my clients, selling condo conversions - to the next day noticing that a light switch had been shut off.  
Phoenix was a hot bed of condo conversion sales and activity.  It's reported that there were about 200 such projects going on all over town.  That doesn't surprise me as I personally witnessed one agent pushing a hand cart with 55 contracts in tow!  
So, knowing I had to switch gears from selling condos, I thought long and hard about my business.  I attended the National Association of REALTORs® convention in November, 2007 by myself for ideas.   One session stood out to me so I popped in to listen.  Everything that agent said resonated with me.  She was an an EcoBroker from California, talking about how she added value to her business, formed a networking group, and built a website with green building resources for her clients.
