If you've never seen a dragon boat race, you're in for a real treat.  The End Hunger in Calvert County organization is hosting the North Beach Dragon Boat Races 2014 at the North Beach Boardwalk.  You're not going to want to miss a second of this exciting and extremely entertaining event.

With the great success of last year's inaugural event, the North Beach Dragon Boat Races 2014 are expected to make a fantastic sophomore return.  Thirty-four teams will be competing head to head in beautifully decorated, human powered boats as they row along the boardwalk.  It may be too late to enter a team of your own, but feel free to bring your family and friends down to the North Beach Boardwalk to cheer everyone on.  There will be vendor booths on-site for spectators and plenty of family-friendly activities for all ages to enjoy.
Proceeds from the North Beach Dragon Boat Races 2014 will benefit End Hunger in Calvert County, a local non-profit organization.  If you'd like to help this ... more
