What does "J" mean in e-mail messages?  
Well communication is key in all business matters but especially true in real estate transactions.  Each business has it's own acronyms and some of the ones we use in our everyday business everyday can be very perplexing to those who do not handle many real estate transactions on a regular basis.
 
People communicate in many ways.  Typically a written communication is the best way to ensure the intent of the message is received and understood in the manner it was proposed.
 
Determining how a Client, Customer or Co-Broke is comfortable communicating is key...now with so many choices....
 
Do we strictly communicate by face to face discussion?
 
Do we call on the phone? 
 
Do we email?
 
Do we use snailmail? (US Mail)
 
Or do we text?
 
Texting has it's own rules and guidelines and common icons or shortcuts for phrases and words.  It is important that the party you are communicating with be at the same level of understanding in the world of texting.
