Beyond the Resort Towns…. Where to find what Colorado REALLY has to Offer
Vail…. Beaver Creek…. Steamboat Springs….Aspen. For being a relatively low population Mountain state in the middle of the country, Colorado cities are among some of the most talked about and most well-known.
Well known for the Rocky Mountains, snow, skiing, snowboarding, famous winter athletes and more skiing and snowboarding. Some people know Colorado for being a mining state, rafting, hiking, generally being active, marijuana, South Park, fishing, and our of course, the Denver Broncos, Nuggets and Colorado Rockies and Avalanche. But there’s so much more to Colorado than that.
For everyone that lives here, we’re very aware of the notoriety of the big resort towns and for the most part, we stick to the many other areas of Colorado that give us the same freedom to enjoy the things we like, the same gorgeous Colorado and Rocky Mountain Beauty and the Colorado attitude that makes this great state, great. While you’ll be hard pressed to hear a bad word about any town in Colorado from someone from or currently living in Colorado, there is a certain preference made by the locals to avoid the hype and still get the real Colorado we all live here for.
