Zillow acquires Active Rain
Well, well, well. This should be a fun topic of discussion for a while.
Zillow buys Trulia, who just combined with Active Rain. How many dozen other companies has the big Z purchased recently? 
Oh, some will jump for joy, others won't be so impressed. 
Some immediate and obvious questions will come up.
1. How will this effect agents who currently advertise on both platforms?
2. How will this effect people advertising on just one or the other?
3. How will this effect Active Rain? Will the domain remain the same?
4. Will the accuracy of their data get better with the combined teams?
It will be fun to stick around and see what happens...
 
A little bit of competition is always good, right? Maybe, maybe not. :)
