Customer Service Is Not Dead!!
I read on here the other day about a bad customer service experience so I wanted to share a great experience I had.
This summer I decided I wanted a "to go" tripod for my camera.   I asked some folks on one of the FB pages I am a part of and it was recommended to get a Gorillapod by Joby. 
I bought one.  It is a pretty cool gizmo--attaching to trees etc.  Unfortunately, I didn't know what I was buying.  I bought the one that was for video cameras because I was going to do some video.  I couldn't get it to work the way I wanted it to.
It had this arm on it that broke off and I couldn't keep the attachment stabilized to hold the camera.  
So, I decided to let them know about this.  I took a little video with my cell phone and sent it to them explaining my problem--never really expecting to hear from them.
