1.Water views are relaxing.
It’s why dentist offices have fish tanks, water is soothing. Imagine being able to wake up every morning to a view that gives a soothing start to your day.
 
2.Activities.
Lake Oconee as well as most lakes offer plenty of outdoor activities such as boating, fishing, jet skiing, wake boarding, and kayaking just to name a few!

 
3.Docks.
Having a dock on a lake is one of the greatest features of lake living. Kids love to jump off docks and it is an amazing feeling to walk from your backyard to your boat in a matter of seconds.
 
4.Lake wildlife is better than Ocean wildlife.
