Yes....The Sign Will be Removed...By the Sign Company
   In our market, most of the FOR SALE signs are mounted on a post and delivered to the property by a sign company that digs the hole with their equipment in the position directed by the listing agent. There may be temporary initial metal tent signs...but the "real sign" for the listing is installed professionally.
   The day the transaction closes, while the ink is drying on the closing documents, the Listing agent or their brokerage, orders the sign removed.  In our market, we have one major company that works for many brokerages and they have a "removal schedule" since they cover many miles throughout many counties.  The sign does not get removed the same day...it may take a couple days to get it taken down.
    The Buyers get anxious....and sometimes OVER anxious and remove the sign themselves....and put it somewhere....in the garage...at the curb...somewhere it does not belong...it is the property of the sign company and the listing agent.
  Be respectful of other people's property...please leave the sign until it is picked up by the people who own it. If the sign company has to come back to the property a second time...it adds to ... more
