I visited the new business, Osage Pecan Company of Lewisburg, and so glad I did.  They provide free samples of all their nuts and candy, plus a fresh sample of coffee. Of course, I tried some delicious chocolate covered nuts and a sample of their great tasting Pears Gourmet Coffee.  The flavor of the day was Cinnamon Nut Swirl. The aroma and taste of the coffee was so delightful.  Of course I had to buy a bag of coffee and some Chocolate Amaretto Covered Pecans. Both soooo delicious!
 
After tasting the delightful samples, I had the chance to talk with manager, Brit West. He said, “the Osage is a family run business.  The owner is my mother, Dr. Meriwether of White Sulphur Springs and her mother Barbara Pippin.”
 
“Barbara, my grandmother,” says Brit, “has been a Georgia pecan farmer for more than 50 years.  She purchased the retail outlet store, Osage Pecan Company, in Butler, Missouri.  In April 2014, they opened the Osage Pecan Company of Lewisburg. My wife, Casy, and I manage the store, and business has been excellent.”
