This past weekend Edgewater hosted the 5th Annual Celtic Harvest Festival.  Although there are several Celtic festivals around Colorado throughout the year this one is definitely one of the most unique.

 
Citizen’s Park which sits between 22nd Ave and 24th Ave on Benton street was filled with Edgewater residents as well as people from all over Colorado who were coming together to get a fix of Celtic culture.
 
For just $2 festival visitors could experience Celtic life with an array of unique beer and food options, a farmer’s market and a bonfire, dancing, Celtic themed gifts for sale and games. The festival had live music all weekend from both small local bands and more popular and well known ones. Children were able to enjoy the event by playing in the kids’ area which featured puppet shows and crafts.
Animal lovers were drawn to the many demonstrations with all sorts of animals including sheep herding and sheering, and a show with many different dog breeds.
