Foliage White Mountains New Hampshire
While I enjoy having four incredible seasons in the Northeast...I think my favorite (and shortest) season here is the Fall. The foliage burns bright, but only for a short time. I try to get some photos with in the peak two week window...almost every day. Because everyday the colors change, and when it goes it goes fast. One really cold nice, with a strong rain, and high winds can un-do mother natures colorful portrait.. So if you are coming to New Hampshire now is the time to leaf -peep ? Granted the Berkshires of Massachusetts, up-state New York and other states south of us will have more time...but For the White Mountains of New Hampshire it will be on it's way out by Columbus Day Weekend.

Let me start you off with this fabulous Red Heart Shaped tree...this was shot on October 3rd 2014
 
..... Compared to the one I took today of the same tree... I give it a week to 10 days to be at peek.
