2014 Long Island Turkey Trot Events
There are plenty of turkey trot events across Long Island for November 2014. Most of them have kids fun runs. Just think, if you run one on Thanksgiving Day, you can eat anything you want. Happy turkey trotting!
Massapequa Park 5k Turkey Trot
Where: Brady Park, Lake Shore Drive & Front Street, Massapequa Park NY
When: Saturday, November 22nd at 9am
Cost: $30 on race day, $15 youth, $25 in advance

Massapequa Turkey Trot
Where: John J. Burns Park, 4990 Merrick Road, Massapequa Park NY
When: Thursday, November 27th at 8:30am
Cost: Visit website for the costs
Family fun run will start at 8:30. 5k race starts at 9:15am
T-shirts are guaranteed if you register by November 20th.
Long Beach NY 10K Turkey Trot
Where: Riverside Boulevard Beach, Riverside Blvd in Long Beach NY
When: Sunday, November 23rd at 8:30am

The 1 mile kids run will start at 8am
Smithtown Kickers Turkey Trot
Where: Smithtown Elementary School, 51 Lawrence Avenue, Smithtown NY
When: Thursday, November 27th at 8:30am
Cost: Visit their website for cost
The kids fun run starts at 8:30am. The adult 5k starts at 9am. You can pick up your registration packet on race day between 6:45am/8:30am
