Walking down Elm Street in Bethesda, past the new Soul Cycle location and the Dunkin' Donuts, one can't help but stop in front of the windows of Fancy Cakes by Leslie, a bright spot in Bethesda since 2009.  I love to peek through the window to admire the incredible cakes that she and her designers are creating - bright colors, towering layers, glossy fondant! Makes me hungry just to stand there!  
Their one of a kind wedding cakes were featured on the Today show wedding series several years ago,where she was chosen winner of the "Hometown Wedding," but they also make children's birthday cakes, adult party cakes, engagement cakes, anniversary cakes, bridal shower cakes, groom's cakes, graduation cakes - You get the idea! And if you bring Fancy Cakes by Leslie a theme, they can create an amazing cake to bring your dream to reality! 
For flavors, you can choose from lemon, white, spice, banana walnut, chocolate fudge, tiramisu, red velvet, and almond!  of course there is white fondant or chocolate fondant - and fudge butter cream frosting, vanilla frosting, mocha, lemon, almond or maple buttercream too!
